Bold statement. And I get it. But I never would've thought the Ducks would be 1 point behind the Kings as of tonight. You just never know how the tide rolls into the playoffs.

Aside from a win, the only thing that can make this game better is Kesler getting a beat down

While I don't disagree, he's been playing like this for a while now. I'm not so sure starting him in Anaheim is a great way to end on a high note given the Flames history there.

On pre-game Darren Pang picked the Flames to win and he said Ortio will end the curse. He was probably dissapointed when he saw Hiller playing and Ortio not even dress.

No need to assume anything beyond the fact that his game has been off for a while. I'm sure his motivation is not the highest at the moment given that he knows his NHL career is over, but I think every goalie who goes out there wants to perform their best and not humiliate themselves in front of the world.

Well, look on the bright side. Hiller used his powers of incompetence and brought us all together into one of the most active game threads in a while.

Every time I see Kesler I think of what Tony Stark says to Cap in the Civil War trailer " Sometimes I want to punch in your perfect little teeth"

Pang is cool. Underrated.
Also underrated: Brian Engblom.

Pang needs to do his homework. Hiller was announced pretty early.

Very true. That being said the Ducks have been on an unbelieveable run since December and are due for a cool down. I just don't see them continuing the pace they've been on in the playoffs.

Watching his play and his body language, I think a strong argument could be made that he just doesn't care anymore. That's all I'm saying.
