So for some actual game news, as per sureLoss in 2 other threads, the Flames have returned Hathaway and F. Hamilton to Stockton, regular recalled Derek Grant, and emergency recalled Emile Poirier, Hunter Shinkaruk, and Brett Kulak.

As per the Flames website and recent injury status, Jooris is probably still out, Jokipakka did not practice, and Stajan might be still suffering from a facial/head injury that he was playing through. No idea who the other defenseman out would be, but let's just guess that it's Brodie.

If I had to take a stab at the lines tonight it would probably be:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Poirier
Shinkaruk-Backlund-Frolik
Ferland-Bennett-Colborne
Bouma-Grant-Bollig

Giordano-Hamilton
Wotherspoon-Engelland
Kulak-Nakladal

I would think Bouma would move up and Shinkaruk would slot into the 4th line. That is more Hartley's style.

Huh? He played both Hathaway and Hamilton on the top line and neither is billed as a top two line player. He's not going to play a undersized scoring forward on the 4th line, that's silly talk.
