[TRADE] Sharks build their defensive wall Stone by stone

The San Jose Sharks have acquired defenceman Michael Stone from the New York Rangers.

Stone is someone who has been on my wishlist for a few months and we were quite happy when NYR contacted us saying he was available. He is currently having a career year with Arizona and has been rewarded with top line duties as well as special team duties. He's starting to break out and be one of the better young defenceman in the league. We are hoping the natural fit between him and OEL in real life transfers over to the SIM.

2016 3rd Round Pick (ANA)

To NYR:

2016 1st Round Pick

No cap was moved in the deal due to Cheese Rule issues, hence why San Jose was compensated with a late 3rd round pick.

I have always liked Stone, going all the way back to his Hitmen days but it was an easy trade for me to make while in this rebuilding process.

I don't really know Stone. This trade will come down to his re-rate. It's a mystery what these ratings will be as they apparently take into account Corsi? So I am very curious how these types of deals will turn out.
