Default Beltline shots

So my wife and I were just woken by what sounded like 5 shots fired from the alleyway behind our apartment. Anyone hear something similar? Police are crawling all over the place right now.

Funny, for some reason this popped into my head first.

Lowrise Density

Beltline East

Not gun shots.

For some reason I thought this was Beltliner shots. Gun shots AND a car through the window, what bad luck. 90% of CP was instantly a suspect.

Obviously grab your guns and start blasting back indiscriminately. What kind of man are you if you ain't protecting your family?!

I thought they were going to be shots of belt lines.

This is all pretty good. Yeah, I was a little shaken up last night. We live pretty close to the Sheldon Chumir. The shots sounded like they came from they alley behind our place. They were close, less than 100 m away.

All jokes aside I live in the area and heard the same thing. I was kind of half asleep when it happened and didn't get up to see what was going on, didn't realize there was a police presence or anything. I haven't seen any reports that they were actually gunshots though, could it have potentially been something else?

I don't know. The only other possibility I have considered was that someone let off a string of firecrackers, but the reports were in rapid succession, and they just sounded like gunshots. The police said that there had been other reports. Really, I can't think of what else it could have been.

Could easily have been fireworks. A lot of people don't know the difference

Crazy, isn't this the 3rd time in the past couple weeks that shots have been fired in the Beltline? previous two times, they couldn't find the source of them, and no one was injured?

Which area of Beltline did this happen? I just moved out of there, and lived right by the Peter Lougheed house.

I grew up in the country, and I have been around both. Not sure it was firecrackers.

We live right by the Lougheed House.

Wasn't there shots fired around the Tim's area there the other week? Could this be related somehow?

When I lived in Sunalta I used to think I heard gun shots every couple weeks. I never reported anything but I just assumed it was fireworks.

I live across the street from the Sheldon Chumir and was up quite late. I am surprised I did not hear anything as the 2am breakups outside of the hudsons often are enough to get me out of bed onto my balcony for some entertainment

Heard nothing resembling gunshots, other than the nighttime thud of delivered newspapers.
