Fun game to be at, but the Dome sure is quiet. No joke, a minute before the first goal a guy in front of us turned around a couple of times and yelled at us to keep it down. My brother asked him what he was talking about and he said my brother was cheering too loudly and hurting his ear. Just bizarre.

Was it that Player's Tribune article by Quick where he said that the best shooters can shoot from anywhere? They don't need that perfect tee-up that Gaudreau used as an example.

EDIT: Realized I could have said actually a few more times...
Sure comparing shots, that is good analysis. Watching 3 adults stand around awkwardly while Armstrong essentially does nothing with the stick is just stupid.

@DarrenWHaynes

Those two goals gives Gaudreau 47 points (23 g, 24 a) at the Saddledome, moving him past Patrick Kane into first in the NHL in home scoring.

I thought it was ridiculous they showed players shooting from all kinds of different postures. I learned nothing except goal scorers know how to the shoot the puck.

Pretty common occurence from my last few trips to the Dome.

What!?

That's ridiculous.

Unless, were you being obnoxiously loud? Even still, you guys have the right to cheer as loud as you like.

Also, he yelled at you for yelling? Seems hypocritical

Great!!! Orio finding the confidence to be a starting goalie for us next season is much more valuable than a move of a few positions in the draft. We know he has the skill it is/was his mind holding him back. Same with the team as a whole. With a confident capable goalie they're a much better team.

WTF?

I don't like confrontations, but I would tell that guy to #### off. It's a sporting event the last time I checked, not the theater.

Not a chance. My brother is pretty boisterous, but I'm a really quiet person in general and one of the last people to get going. I judge my brother as being well within acceptable levels and I was barely saying anything.

Who cares when you start the claim it's when the claim gets finished. What a dumb commercial.

I really hate these insurance commercials. Do they realize the agent can't SEE the guy on the phone so they don't have to actually damage the cars?

They won't be sitting him, so I would expect Wotherspoon to head back down unfortunately. Sad that its gotten to the stage where we not only didn't miss him during his suspension, but also probably slightly improved on the blue line. I hope he's gone before we start next season.

Crazy.

It's the Dome, not Chinook Theatre.

I'll agree it got a little silly. But I think the idea they were trying to play with Forsberg is he can shoot at weird angles or with the puck in a weak position and they can still generate a lot of power with accuracy.

Yeah, I was providing constant commentary to my 3 friends, yelling and cheering when we attended Feb 3 vs Carolina.... the Dome foam had me pretty loud about it. No one cared.

When I was about 4 rows up from rinkside vs Columbus and practically screaming abuse at Bourque and Atkinson.... no one cared.

That man is an anomaly.
