Glad we probably get to see a call up or two from Stockton after trading Jones. Would also like to try and create chemistry with gaudreau-Monahan-ferland. He's looked good on that top line when given the chance but it only ever lasts for 2-3 games for some reason.

Backstrom has played a whopping 40 games in the past 2 and a half or so seasons (0 this year) and has 10 wins over that time. Jones has put up a reasonable 15 points so far this season on a bad team. 30 points last season.
Oh well.

Well, technically 4 depending on Ramo's recovery status. But I think it's pretty much useless to bring in Backstrom unless Hartley really has it out for Ortio

Calgary's done well the last few years in the 6th round with guys like Mangiapane and Ollas Mattson being recent selections. If they can get someone of a similar calibre to those guys it would be great for us.

Pirri got a 6th rounder and has 33 goals in his last 101 games (0.33 GPG).
David Jones has 23 goals in his last 126 games (0.18 GPG).
A 6th is pretty good considering.
