I loved McGinn on the Avs. He played physical and I think even put up 20/20 one year. No idea how he's looked this year, although he does have nearly 30 points fwiw.

From Harvey Fialkov panthers beat writer.
I'm hearing Panthers interested in Flames vet Jiri Hudler. 31 goals last year 10 now. Last year of 4 mill. #czechforjags

Ducks hardly ever make deadline moves. I saw a quote today saying he wouldn't give up Theodore, Ritchie or even Larsson. I'd rule out the 1st as well but what do I know.

Told the St. Louis Blues have a trade in principle for a backup goaltender. Not finalized/official yet. Might not be until Sat morning.

No idea. Could be a concussion. Might just be a neck issue that's lingering. Team is kinda tight lipped right now. No timeline on his return.

I hope there's a 1 going each way in this deal. I can dream, right?

Interesting, makes a lot of sense.
Hudler and Jagr? Yes please.

I'm already a Panthers fan, so having Hudler there would be perfect. Would fit in with the team really well.

I mean, I wouldn't be sad to see it. However, if Huberdeau is healthy he's on the line with Barkov and Jagr. They have tremendous chemistry together.
Hudler on a line with either Trocheck or Bjugstad? Yes please. It's just hard to find a spot for him since Jokinen and Reilly Smith are having very strong years.
This is honestly how it would probably break down:
Huberdeau-Barkov-Jagr
Jokinen-Trocheck-Smith
Hudler-Bjugstad-Pirri
McKenzie-Bolland-Howden
That's a pretty stacked forward group that has lots of versatility.
Then look at the d-corps:
Campbell-Ekblad
Petrovic-Kulikov
Mitchell-Gudbranson
And then the goalies:
Luongo
Montoya
Tell me that's not a team that could go at least to the Conference Championship?

The additions would have to be very high end to pry Crouse out of Florida. Tallon is extremely high on him, and he almost made the team out of camp this year.

Tallon didn't want to move Crouse for Ladd(with a 1st) highly doubt we get him without giving something like a 2nd and good prospect?
Hudler would be a big upgrade on Reilly Smith wouldn't he? I mean the guy was 7th in league scoring last year. He is a much better player than his stats suggest this year...but you already know that...
I guess what I'm asking is has Smith really looked that good? I know Bruin fans despised him last year and were happy to see him go.

If Hudler is moved what are your realistic expectations for the return?

Good prospect... so Agostino or something to that tone?
I'd be fine with giving up Hudler + 2nd + Agostino for Crouse.

I would think that it would take more than Agostino to pry Crouse away.

Ya maybe
No idea what an area of need for the Panthers is though prospect pool wise.
Goalie? Macdonald?
You hardly ever see deals like that though- Rental/futures for better futures.
Erat/Forsberg kinda...any others?

He's been amazing this year. Probably one of the best two-way wingers I've seen play on any team this year. Exceptional defensively, and has had an absolutely lethal shot offensively. Paired well with a great playmaker in Trocheck. I think the Reilly Smith trade was an absolute steal by Tallon.
Bruin fans are stupid.

We're not getting Lawson Crouse. Panthers think he can be a Nathan Horton type, those don't grow on trees.
