1 poimt games can be the most exciting games. We are seeing this in back to back games.

How is it we make Halal look like Jesus with goalie pads?
He's supposed to be a middling starter.

I hope no one posts spoilers about the plot of "Risen". It seems like a very original story, I wouldn't want it ruined for me.

Who's to say they would have been as ready as they are now earlier in the year? Wotherspoon reportedly only recently really picked up his play in the minors. You don't hand spots to rookies until they've earned them or injuries strike. Unless you wanna be the Oilers?

Defensive depth is huge for making the playoffs. Ideally you have NHL ready or near NHL ready prospects in the minors ready to play when injuries hit. If we had two less defensemen all year and were experiencing the same number of injuries/suspensions then Wotherspoon-Nakladal might be our 2nd pairing and Kulak-???? could be our 3rd?

We should be happy they look good. Not whining that they didn't get a shot earlier. Having guys who look like NHLers during call ups is a sign of good depth, not an indictment of management.

In fairness, by the time Wotherspoon has been sent down most times, he wasn't very trustable and needed the work in the A

Francis loves hyperbole. 35 points in 53 games are still respectable numbers. On pace for a 50+ point season.

Well, Jesus was a Jew and Halal isn't too far off of Kosher.

Wotherspoon showed he was not ready and Nakladal had never played on small ice.

Man, I sort of got the Batman/Jesus symbolism but now we’re calling him ‘the Jesus’ too?

'Do you want to be the Oilers' or 'thats what the Oilers would do' should be outlawed. They are historically bad. Its like comparing every move to the 1970s Canadians... you basically have to try really hard to be that bad.

Nakladal likely makes the team out of camp if he doesn't get injured. He was great in pre-season.

2 straight odd-man rushes...no shot on goal. Not good enough.
