I like having Engelland around, sends Kesler packing.

It makes me happy when Perry's crap gets called.

3-2 lead coming out of the 1st period in a Matinee game against the Ducks? I call that a step in the right direction.

Now let's see if they can do it at the pond.

Nakladal with 4:16 in ice time with 1 SOG. Only a few seconds behind Smid for lowest ice time. If he plays over 10 minutes tonight I'll consider that a fair allocation of ice time. Looked pretty solid in the 1st, especially since he didn't stand out in any way. For a defenseman that's a great sign.

I don't usually advocate for injuries, but Jesus Christ I can't stand Kesler. I would love for someone to end that guy's career. I'm not sure how people can even stand to be the same dressing room as that filthy coward.

Hamilton is only 1 goal off his career high, he scored 10 last year. He's 16 points off his pace, but with his increased offensive responsibilities I wouldn't be surprised if he came close to it by the end of the year.

Also, looks like not having Russell is a good thing for Hamilton. Only had just over 6 minutes but managed to have a goal and an assist with 3 SOG.

Ok Mr. Treliving, time to find an adequate #4 to pair with Dougie going forward.

He's not one of the guys I think you can say that about. He's top 5 on my most hated list, but tbh, I don't think he's a dirty player at all. He's a pest, and a douch, but he doesn't usually come with the cheap dangerous plays that his current team mate Perry and former team mate Burrows do.

I hate the guy, but you can't advocate for injuries to someone simply because they are annoying or excel at being a pest.

Call me crazy, but I'm still wishing Calgary would re-sign Hudler. He's still going to be an impact player in this league for years to come.

Couldn't have said it better.

I'm not advocating gifting him minutes, but give him some regular shifts to prove what he can or can't do.

So far, to me, he looks alright.

Dougie is refreshing on the PP. If someone is in front he'll shoot, and can get a shot through for a change. We over pass so much normally.

Ya I'm sure Russell would have ruined that power play goal somehow
