God I love Roberto Luongo. Hilarious.
Anyway, that was a lot of fun, cbc production horribleness aside. Maybe the best asg since what, '91? As long as the players try, not 100% but just try, it's entertaining.
Currently watching AHL skills and the single most evil anti-goalie event ever conceived of. Good lord.

I think that's a given. They probably didn't have enough time this year, when they decided to go to 3 on 3 the jerseys were probably already in production.

Being in LA, they can do white, black, yellow, and purple. As long as the purple isn't too dark, they can play any two colours against each other without any confusion.

Sutter with a painful shot at the Flames, parting the only Oiler with the only Flames.
That said, any Oilers highlights that they'll show up there of Hall (and going overboard as they do,predicting Hall for the Olympics) will be passes courtesy of JG or Gio. Staples will have to write his Hall article through gritted teeth as he can't avoid praising the Flames that made it all possible.
Outside of the hail Mary pass Hall gave to Gio, stick any of those guys out there and they do as well as Hall, butbbertterr defensively. Sedin and his smarts, instead of Hall would've been much better for JG.
Finally, hope Arizona and Montreal both miss the playoffs for their terrible treatment of Scott in this. League shares some blame too, but that trade was made with the sole intention of giving the league a reason not to play him, while saving Phoenix’s face and Montreal claiming itself as a supposed innocent party.
Flames PR should've ran up and given Scott's kids two jerseys so they wouldnt have to wear Ariozna jerseys.

Well that was fun. Back to NHL reality. Where Wideman is going to be banned from hockey for 100 years, the Flames can't win and we debate which veteran will return the best magic beans.

The big thing about the format that worked is it got the defensemen out of the way. In 5 on 5 the defensemen all look out of place trying to avoid getting hit with the puck.
Take them off and you trade off end to end rushes.
Great improvement to the level of play and entertainment value. A very watchable product.

I think everyone on the winning team should give John scott their 100k.

Stupid competitive game where players actually tried, the game would have been much better as a 15-12 game where nobody tried .
In other news how Glen Healy continues to be featured in the NHLs premiere events is crazy, he ruins the atmosphere every time he speaks.
