The Packers seemed to turn that game when Rogers caught Washington with 12 guys on the field. From that point forward the Packers pretty much did whatever they wanted on offence.

That's how I see it breaking down too - NFC and AFC finals being divisional matchups.

Patriots Injury Update: WR Julian Edelman, OL Sebastian Vollmer, LB Dont'a Hightower Cleared to Play

http://www.patspulpit.com/2016/1/11/...ian-vollmer-lb

These three players should return to the field, while others like wide receiver Danny Amendola, offensive guard Josh Kline, defensive end Rob Ninkovich, and safeties Patrick Chung and Devin Mcourty should be healthier than they were during week 17.

The status of defensive end Chandler Jones (toe/abdomen) is still up in the air, but we will know more when practice reports are released this week.

Yup it's those little mistakes. Gruden didn't get the timeout in time.

I think Patriots win but KC covers.
Cardinals blow out the Packers
Carolina covers against Seattle, probably win by 4 or 5
Not sure who will win but Steelers will cover.

I predict the exact opposite of you!

Minus the cards. I think they win but Green Bay keeps it close.

KC
Cardinals
Seattle
Denver

All 4 home teams win comfortably this weekend.

Denver certainly catches a break with Pittsburgh looking to be pretty beat up. If there's no DeAngelo Williams and Antonio Brown and with Roethlisberger beat up like he is, than Denver will certainly choke out the Steelers.

I'd much rather the Chiefs were playing Denver this weekend than New England. Not saying the Chiefs would certainly beat Denver, but I think the Chiefs can slug it out toe to toe with Denver, moreso than what the projected Steelers team on Sunday could. KC's only chance against New England is if the Patriots injured guys noticeably show it in their play. Particularly Brady with his ankle. If those guys are all to 80% heath, than I think New England wins that game 27-10. If Maclin can't go, I'm not liking the Chiefs offence to do much in that game.

I also think Green Bay will keep that Arizona game pretty close. Good teams don't get killed twice by the same opponent. Green Bay know's what adjustments they need to make, and Arizona will have a tough time figuring out what to do different because they won't be able to do the same thing again.

I think it'll be
NE easy if no Maclin, does recent OD Chandler Jones play?
Carolina
Denver
GB

Edit: the matchups all feel so close though that no result would shock me

KC is still a tough match up for NE, with or without Maclin.

NE traditionally struggles with teams that can get pressure without blitzing, that is one of KC's strengths.

Should be a good match up.

Antonio Brown officially ruled out Sunday. Pacman Jones is a dumbass.

KC's my upset pick of the week, though from earlier in this thread it looks like I'm far from the only one learning that way. Toughest one is SEA/CAR, wouldn't be surprised at all if Seahawks pull that one out.

Kansas City just has everything needed to beat New England, namely a great defense that can rush the passer with 4 guys and a top secondary that can press the receivers. With how ugly that patchwork line looked for the Pats, and how easily an average QB like Tannehill ripped apart their defense, New England is very vulnerable in this game. I think Alex Smith's legs are the difference as he'll pick up a few critical third downs.

I hope you guys are right. Both teams have a lot of banged up bodies. New England was destroying the league until they lost a lot of their better guys on offence. If these guys are healthy, I think New England goes all the way and Arizona is the only team who can run with them.

Seattle's played Carolina 5 times since it is Cam vs Russel. 3 of those games were in Carolina...the total points scored in each of those 3 games (all SEA wins) was under 30. I expect similar this game.

Good that Lynch is back, but his numbers vs Carolina aren't that hot, but again, look at the above scorelines as to the type of games. So he doesn't have to be good. Michael has done fine in the backfield, so I expect those two will trade off.

I think Seattle will give CAR all it can handle. Seattle's offense was sputtering in the early season matchup with Carolina pulled out at the end. Turnovers, and penalties, will be amplified in importance if it's basically is a one score difference all game.

Also, looks like crappy weather (rain and snow in Charlotte overnight and into tomorrow) and 8c as a high tomorrow.

As for other games, I think NE pulls it out, maybe with some help of KC shooting themselves in the foot.

GB gives ARI a push, but I think the Arizona offense gets it done.

Probably closer than it should be in Denver, just like the Tebow game years back, but Manning comes through.

Pretty obvious that New England's been playing possum. This is the team that was destroying everyone.

Great start for the Patriots. KC could be in big trouble.
