Ramo is going to pass Andersen in sv% tonight. Dont waist assets on an Andersen trade. Wait to see how Ramo finishes the season. Tough to trade for a younger backup when we have no where to put all our goalies. Its just a reality this year. Probably see Ramo resigned for 2 years and pick up another goalie in the summer. You will know what Gillies is in 2 years.

Montreals director of pro scouting also taking in the game which is interesting as Montreal had scouts at the Colorado game as well.
Maybe something going on with Montreal/Toronto and perhaps NYR (although Justin Sather is a regular and Risebrough is only a consultant), believe rest of scouts are w Canada based.

We don't need to acquire another D man, you already have a guy who could step right in in Nakladal.

That also includes the time frame when both he and the entire team were playing like absolute garbage. In the last month and a half he has a SV% of .928. I think that's a large enough sample size to be confident in his play. I'm sure he'll still through up a stinker every now and then but even Price and Quick aren't immune to those. I also wouldn't want to trade an asset for a goalie who right now is playing below Ramo's level. Our backup situation could be better, but losing an asset on the off chance Ramo gets hurt is a waste.

What is Emerson Etem worth? Wotherspoon maybe
Two Rangers scouts at the Flames game last night and sounds like he may be on the move.
Big, fast, and physical winger.
Put up good stats in the AHL but hasn't translated to the NHL yet.
Seems like something the Flames would be looking at.

New York is very heavily invested in their defensive group. I would think that cost controlled defensive prospects would be on their wish list. Their prospect depth is not very good.
