Default Small Business Marketing

My wife has a small business here in Calgary in retail services (fitness studio), and we could really use some help in the realm of marketing, specifically lead generation.

Anyone who is slightly involved with this knows how much crap there is out there. Marketing has a lot of high priced promised with very little in the way of results.

If you can connect me with anyone that specializes in small business marketing, please PM me.

Cheers!

We use a calling company to assist us in generating leads, we're no bigger then 8 people right now with one person doing the sales and marketing.

The right calling campaign can generate a good number of qualified leads and its a lot cheaper then hiring your own person to generate through phone work.

But it depends on the type of business that your in.

I would be happy to sit down with you and go over the tools I personally use.
I have read enough books, tried enough "tools" and made enough costly mistakes to know what works and doesnt (within my industry anyway).

That said, one thing I have no problem sharing on a open board is the importance of staying connected with your current client base. Only recently did I shift my focus from new clients to the clients I already have and still have a ton of room for improvement (only took the better portion of a decade for this to hit home). It is easy to forget about the client who is already dropping in for a workout but in reality, losing that 1 client most likely means you lose 2,3,4, etc as they would have brought friends in over the span of visiting your studio and that friend would have brought a friend. Especially in your business where I have to assume the majority of people show up with someone.
