Happens all the time in Hockey. It's just unfortunate it was our best forward that got hit.

I don't care what anyone says. Risto did his job, and did it extremely well and clean. He took the body (a very slippery one) and not the puck.

I hope Johnny comes back for the 2nd and Treliving is on the phone to Tim Murray to get Ristolainen for a coup.

Kind of hard to say, initially he wanted to clear the front of the net, which is fine, but Johnny was moving away from the net and Ristolainen pursued him for 5+ feet and fully followed through. Wouldn't have been anything more than a plain interference if Jones hadn't bowled JG over though.

Actually it's probably not even interference since the hit was so well timed with the attempted deflection.

Did Buffalo even have a shot that wasn't from behind the net/ bad angle?

Risto did exactly what we wish Hamilton would do in that situation.

Risto is a stud, not really an ogre

If it was Jones that got hit and Johnny that ran him over after, that's just a dman clearing his man.

If that was Smid pushing Eichal we'd be applauding it. Just too bad it's out best player going down. Hope he's OK and it was precautionary

It wouldnt have been inteference. Johnny tipped the puck on the play.

Man I get people being pissed but this was nothing more then someone finally caught Johnny legally. Can't always out skate or dodge every hit. Law of averages will catch up.

What body part does Johnny need replaced for him to come back? I'm standing by in the hospital ready to go under the knife

This is actually pretty level for CP, haha. Usually it's like 3 pages of people throwing their hands in the air like a whiny Habs fan and only a handful of level headed replies

Someone should tell that guy who was in the Jugo Juice Family Feud to untuck his jersey. He looked like a jackhole.
