Default Habs away Nov 23- Nov 30

Habs mgmt are heading over the pond to manchester/liverpool, uk. The goal is to grow the sport in England. But what will probably happen is top brass will get drunk and watch soccer.

Pens will be covering my lines, while I am away. Talk to y'all in a week.

Habs brass are back in the office from a recruiting session in England. No elite players found, but we signed a couple new massage therapists. They will be splitting time in the 'Heath & Physio' and 'Leisure & Entertainment' divisions.

I've seen all the activity on the board and figured i'd make a few comments here.

- First off, props to Joe for giving up a great team he built, and taking the Flames. This leaves a very asset rich team for someone to inherit. I would like the league to consider giving some of its assets to other asset deprived teams- starting with Calgary. Philly is solid, so i would suggest at least eight or nine 1sts be given away. This would leave the new GM with still an great team, a 1st and other picks.

For a new GM to get Philly as is, would not be fun, in my opinion. The work is already done and all they gotta do is sail though. Ideally, a new GM should start off in the middle of the pack. This is a great opportunity for the league to share Philly's wealth with the poorer teams, consequently bringing Philly down, and the bottom 10 teams up.

Sounds easy in theory, but obviously it isn't. I'd recommend starting with the currency report that was done last year, and look to improve the bottom 10 teams. Also, to a smaller extent, teams 11-15th.

- Secondly, even though the Habs are very low in assets, a redraft isn't an option IMO. It would take way to long, and if you want to start from scratch - join another league. However, all problems lie with the fact some teams are so poor. I believe the example of Joe, leaving Philly is great. If a couple asset rich did this, it could quickly balance the tables.

-Lastly, I suck at Photoshop. I would love to post more, but I do put in my time in other ways. I check things daily, ie. Transactions, and get rewarded. ie. Chris Terry- if that is considered a reward. Like everyone- I enjoy reading all posts by GMs. I will always post a trade and occasionally do a summary of my games. But like everyone, our time is limited.

That is my two cents and I apologize for nothing.

Sorry my post was so long.
