I don't care about winning at this point in the season. I just wan to see guys like Bennett, Granlund, Jooris, Ferland do exciting things and be allowed to make mistakes and play big minutes in a position to succeed, not just even strength but on the power play. Please give us that Hartley.

Sharks are honoring Ryanne Clowe tonight - I know he's a CGY favorite! :-)
My second favorite Clowe moment was the inexplicable 'crybaby' gesture he threw at Iginla in the playoffs in 2008. I just laughed so hard - it's just seems so silly.
The mostest favorite moment was playing the puck from the bench and getting away with it. (it would have stopped being fun if he got caught and penalized). Brown & Dowdy's reactions are priceless.

Yeah, Clowe is a scrub. Crybaby gesture? Was this some sort of legendary gesture in Shark lore or something? One guy who was never a cry baby in the game was Iginla.
A Flames win tonight makes this 3 game road trip a moderate success with 3 of 6 points. Returning home to play 5 in a row in a building that they've won 4 straight and have played some pretty good hockey in.
In December the Flames will play 9 of 13 at home. If they can continue to play well at home December could prove to make things interesting. I know they are in tough but they have a chance to at least start to gain some confidence and provide some entertaining hockey. Which at this point is all i can ask for.
With all that being said. If they lose tonight I think I need a Flames break, or at least give the rose colored glasses a break.
