Game should be 2-0 Ducks did nothing and were gifted two goals. Given the curse we'll need to be up 3-4 goals or same old same old.

Not only a tie game, but two periods to go.

I get it, the Flames blew a lead, and it's in Anaheim. But the score is even on the road with two periods to go.

Have some friggin' heart, people.

Flames worked hard for their 2 goals, even though Khudobin was pretty terrible on both. Unfortunately, the goalie change worked and the Ducks stormed back. Kessler draws a call on a very weak hooking call (pretty sure Bollig got all stick there), and Ramo let's one slip through his pads. Then after weeks of strong play, Hamilton goes back to week one version of himself and totally whiffs on the defensive coverage on Rakell. Pretty brutal play, but I'll forgive him that one if he makes up for it the rest of the game.

Rakell has been the Ducks best player so far. Keep an eye on him the rest of the game, he's looking dangerous.

Treliving has done a lot of good things with this team - but his management of the crease seems to be his greatest deficiency so far. I feel like Ramo, Hiller and Ortio should all go on waivers. For this team to take that next step forward this is the area that needs fixing the most.

Who cares who played worse? Ramo still played badly there. As did Hamilton
A backhand shot is almost impossible to read. There's a reason pretty much any goalie will tell you they hate facing backhand shots. He took the puck on the backhand and released it at the last possible second. Ramo had no chance.

Sometimes narratives are narratives because they are true.
The last ten games have been very different than the first ten games. Anyone who has been halfway paying attention will tell you that.

It was a nasty gaff but those happen. Ask Duncan Keith the other night. The problem is that play will wipe out his previous strong play in the discussion.

Yeah, that Bollig call was junk. Anaheim was looking weak until they were gifted a PP.

The second goal was Hamilton, playing the character of Bouwmeester.

Game should actually be 1-0 Ducks if we are taking bad goals out of the equation.

As much as I've been a fan of Hamilton's game while he was in Boston. Here in Calgary he's not looked even close to the same player. I just pray that Dougie does not become Bouwmeister 2.0. the kid's still only 22, and young. He's not even hit his prime years as a defenceman. Let's try to ease up on the kid.

For all the credit this management group is given round here, signing ramo, really having no plan for the goaltending this year other than 'let's roll with three' is really troubling....

I sure hope Hamilton figures it out. He's been a general disappointment in his first quarter of the season as a flame. Can he just be referred to as doug already???

First period doesn't matter anymore, it's a 2 period game now. And we're tied in a tough building. We all would have taken this scenario 100% of the time, right?

Calgary scored two hard working goals, sure the rebounds were juicy but so what it happens. Ramo was lost in space on both goals you can see him fighting the puck on even routine shots. I'm quite amazed how some can continue to make excuses for the Flames goaltending it has been horrible all season with few exceptions.

How can people be piling on Ramo tonight? The d in front of him is nothing short of terrible. At first I thought the Hamilton for Hamonic proposals were ridiculous, but man am I ever getting some sick of that gigantic pansy. We may be lucky to get out of his contract. You can't teach physicallity or hockey sense, and it starting to look like this guy has neither.

This is likely where the pendulum starts to swing back the other way in regards to Ramo.

To be fair Hiller cheats off of that post all the time giving the top corner away a bunch.

But, this is Ramo and either goal he let was easily stoppable.

Still hoping the Flames can manage to clear up the mud puddle that is the goaltending picture.

You know those two Khudobin goals? Those are the exact kind of rebounds Ramo gives up every single night without fail, thing is, the Flames D corps has figured that out and have bailed him out. Yeah yeah, he's bailed out he D corps a bit too.

Anyone know where leia hextall gets her dresses from?

My gf's 2nd comment thus far this game. She wants the dress.

(The first comment was about Sam's dirty stash)
