Can I ask how most of you watch the games each week, or what the best way to go in general is? I have TSN/SN and hesitate to add SN World ($17/month seems ridiculous). I could just find streams, but that seems unreliable. Really wish there was an app (and maybe there is?) that just allowed you to get all your teams games via subscription or something like that.

The TSN/SN/SNWorld combo will get you basically all of the games outside of League Cup games, although SNWorld is definitely overpriced unless some of the non-EPL content they provide appeals to you.
I hate streaming games, so I try to avoid that as much as possible. I also tend to miss a large chunk of games on the weekends due to work, so I like to PVR the game, and streaming doesn't allow for that. I just gave in and pay the price for SNWorld.

Yeah those basterds got me! I pay for SNWorld too. Some of the additional programming is good especially when theres a premium game on and they only put it on SNWorld.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

The worst thing about SN World is that, even if you get the channel on Shaw, there are a few games that are only available on SN World NOW, which is their online service. You'd think that Shaw subscribers would get access with their subscription, but no - you'd have to buy it separately.
Those matches are rare, but it is still frustrating and a ripoff.
Rogers customers get access to SN World NOW, but no other cable providers can.
I mean without SNWorld, I'd be robbed of the chance to see FC United of Manchester play Chesterfield in 1st round FA Cup action. And learning what exactly FC United of Manchester actually is. And hoping for the day we see teams like FC North London or FC Merseyside.

There hasn't been as much alienation at Arsenal and Liverpool but there is a growing number of supporters in England who have become disillusioned with professional football and started following non-league clubs.

Especially after the big clubs got the huge TV money and still raised ticket prices.
A lot of clubs have priced the average fan out of the game. And its something I can totally understand. I'm a die-hard Flames fan and I only go to 2-3 games per year because its just too expensive.
I can have just as much enjoyment watching the game in a pub with buddies or at home for much, much less money.

^ The thing is at Flames games I think that you have a better experience at home or in a pub. No lines for the washroom, cheaper drinks, and the atmosphere there is nothing to pay for. That isn't equivalent for the BPL though. You go to sing and chant and enjoy yourself, and there happens to be a football game going on. Two completely different things IMO.
I do totally understand the whole idea of people not going because it's not cheap though. For a "premier" match you are paying a good amount for seats. I think that you can buy seats to see the lesser teams for a lot cheaper, but the atmosphere isn't going to be the same there either. Sports and all the infrastructure that come with them are just plain expensive though.
The Premier League has confirmed La Marseillaise will be played before all of this weekend’s matches as “an act of solidarity and remembrance” following last Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris.
Will be interesting to see Uniteds attacking lineup tomorrow. Martial, Rooney and Fellaini are all unavailable and Wilson is "not fit enough to play 90". Sooo ... Memphis up front? Or does van Gaal throw youngster Ashley Fletcher into the lineup? Simply no other options left. Why did they sell Chicharito again? ...
EDIT: Lingard might be another option up front I guess.

Sometimes on weekends, I'll walk a few blocks to the Ship.
Other times, I'll stream them.

I imagine Rooney toughs out his illness, and is subbed for Wilson.
At least Carrick's injury isn't as bad as first indications.
As for the "how to watch" debate ... it really sucks that there isn't something like the NHL Gamecenter Live or the NFL Gamepass for the Premier League. I'd buy that in a heartbeat ... right now I have Sky and they usually have 3 PL games per weekend, so if the games I want to watch are not among them, I have to find a good "river", which is often a pain in the ass. But on a positive note, I'll be fluent in Russian and Arabic soon ...

That'll come in handy for attending the next 2 World Cups!

I think that we can thank the split arrangement between TSN and Sportsnet for that. Although if Sportsnet had sole rights, they'd still use it to push SN World.
TSN has a good history of streaming any overflow matches that they can't fit on their 5 channels on TSN Go. It still requires a cable subscription, but no pricey add-on like Sportsnet.
The casual fan won't mind their choice of 7 or 8 "regular" matches on a weekend. But many of us support one team avidly (NORWICH!), so I'll watch their game every week regardless of everything else.
But I agree - an online service that would give me every single game for a fair price would be a dream. Unfortunately it would undercut traditional cable, and we know that Rogers and Bell would never allow that!
Edit: And I'm a dummy and missed the "Sky" part. But please allow me to grumble about our arrangement here in Canada.
