May I have your attention please?
May I have your attention please?
Will the real Mark Giordano please stand up?
I repeat will the real Mark Giordano please stand up?
We're going to have a problem here...

Not sure I'd give Monahan a B- to this point, but whatever, he's playing a bit better lately.
There's a bunch of games so far this season and tonight's another one that I honestly forgot Hudler was playing. He's not doing much of anything, he's been invisible so far tonight again.

I hope the World cup falls flat.
It can never be a replacement for the actual Olympics.

Brodie is the flames best player
Johnny mony and Bennet are exciting and might be some day, but Brodie is unbelievable most nights

I give that period a D.
Zero presence in neutral ice early. Might as well have placed a bunch of plastic cones there.
Endless unnecessary icings.
Multiple Grade A+++ chances against. Ramo went God Tier. Soft second period goals incoming.
Scored on a Grade C chance
Monahan a nice defensive play followed by a rush, that ends up being a rush
back the other ways.
Scored on a random bounce
Dumb unnecessary penalty.
Jooris a nice play on the PK.
Wasted 4 on 4
PP kind of wasting time.
No real sustained pressure except on the Brodie goal, which wasn't exactly the longest sequence.

I still can't figure out what's wrong with Giordano. He's turned into Jordano from a few years ago. Still tries hard, but makes poor decisions everywhere. What happened to his brain?
This is 100% mental. There's not a single thing I can see physically that's bothering him. That's probably the good news.
The bad news? There's no timeline to return from a mental injury. He may not figure it out this entire season.

Not to Schneider. He was the screen on Brodie's goal.

Decision making we can't blame on a nagging injury. Icing it when you have control with the net empty in the last minute of a game down a goal is unacceptable. I don't understand how he forgot to play hockey over a few months.

He's just having brain farts. It doesn't look like he's playing injured to me.

He had an off year the one before last as well after an injury. Real troubling to be sure.
