What about Gelinas, or Huska as options?

Not saying I advocate either but they could be options. At the end of the day I can see a coaching change but not until the summer

You'll all be sorry when Craig MacTavish makes his way to the Flames press conference table.

How's Guy Boucher nowadays? Wonder if he'd be an option

I thought Guy Boucher gave up coaching and is focusing his time being a Bond villain now. I'm pretty sure he's even in the new movie.

Oilers fans have to vote for someone.

If we were to replace the coach let's go with someone good. Perhaps Boudreau or Hitchcock, if they are let go.

winning the adams seems to be the death nail for coaches. Cherry was right... Coaches are hired to be fired. Yeah last year was miracle on ice the sequal. This year... it's blow out night after night and were on the wrong end of the blow outs. Problem with gassing Hartley, who is a better option out there not under contract ? I know I havent' got an answer for it. Perhaps the management are in the same boat ?.

Davis Payne was the reason the Blues couldn't get their rebuild going. This was a team that vaulted 20+ points past the Flames with Hitch.

I'd actually vote John Stevens though. Muller probably won't leave the Blues. Same with Dineen and the Hawks.

Dineen was terrible in Florida.

Boucher is coaching SC Bern of the swiss league at the moment (Ironic, no?).

Aren't there enough topics and subjects about this team as of late that are grim, neurotic over-reactions?

It's really quite astounding this is even being discussed at this point. Rebuilding team, one month removed from winning coach of the year...

Really?

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

I think a monkey could have coached that Ducks team and won.

Selanne
Pronger
Niedermayer
Kunitz and McDonald playing above expectations
Getzlaf
Perry
Penner (when he was good)
Beauchemin
Giguere

The best shutdown line in the league: Marchant - Pahlsson - Moen

The most surprising was how they didn't win even more.

How is that a bad thing? Ortio has been a disaster too, and changing the goalies every game hasn't worked, so why not let a goalie try find his groove? I don't think starting Ramo again will have any part whatsoever if/when Hartley is fired.

There's no better coaches out there right now. Even if there was, Hartley has earned some leeway. Like a seasons worth. This onus is on the players, they know the system, it works, last season was a testament to this. It only fails when there is a lack of total buy in from the payers. This has been said, many times throughout management.
