Agree, I think the issue is the league figured out the whole stretch pass break out plan and have adjusted. Hartely has not. So the team is drowning in poor play and brutal lack of performance.

FA season must get on his brain. Or, this is why he was waiver fodder in STL. I don't know. Clean Wideman and russell out. whoever comes in cannot be worse right now. Just pull the trigger.

Damn we only have two guys that can play the hockey. Brodie and Johnny. Our power play is f^*&ing embarrassing. Bob has some blame to bare as well imo. Also Is Raymond blake comeau negative 2.0 or what.

I don't ever recall a Flames team that was as hopeless as this. They simply don't stand a chance against teams with NHL quality goaltending. The Widemen/Russell pairing combined with the worst goaltending in the NHL has handicapped this team to the point they would probably struggle against AHL teams.

I'm actually having fun watching, cause Gaudreau is just so damn entertaining. I'm seriously at the point where I don't even care about the Flames losing right now, as long as I get to see some Gaudreau wizardry every night.

Considering only one team in the league wanted him and that team sat him for 9 games until he was able to "beat out" Alex Semin what exactly do you think they could have got him for?
He wasn't good enough for the Flames, wasn't good enough for 28 other teams and barely made the least team thanks to a car accident from one of their players.
