He bobbled the initial shot, then did his job by stopping the rebound shot he gave up. Mony through it right to the defender while Hiller was still on his ass after making the stop.

Aren't going to win many games when we allow 4-5 goals a night. (Also when we only score 1...). It's disappointing because they were playing so well. We have got to figure out how to play a full 60 minutes.

Horrible 3rd period from Hiller. Just not nearly good enough.
With the back to back against the Islanders tomorrow, there's no excuse to not let Ortio have a start now.

Biggest difference between this year and last is that those shots didn't get through before. Which was why advanced stats guys figured that blocked shots were a negative indicator I guess. They hid bad team play in their own zone.

Haha, everyone's been in Hiller's position, there. His pen wasn't working but he didn't want to speak up and say so with the bosses around and no back up pen, so he just pretended it was working and hopes no one will look at his clip board.

Nice two periods - couldn't get the puck buried more than once - and that's what happens when you meet a MUCH better team and don't take advantage of your good chances. They had decent opportunities. Ah well....it's part of the learning curve.
