Our goaltending definitely needs to be better, but I would not point to a multi save night by an oiler goalie as the "gold standard"......I believe Scrivens had a near 60 save performance for the coil, and well.........

I think Hiller had a 50 save night last year, no? Maybe against the Wings?

Hiller was fine tonight. Taking 20 minutes off was the problem tonight, not goaltending.

They're netting the better results. Much like last season when Gio went down. I don't think the coaches are liking what they are seeing out of the Gio-Hamilton pairing. Which is totally fair.

Blackhawks in the first two weeks last season. The only time as a Flame that he has shown elite level goaltending (the first month that season).

The confidence Gadreau is playing with right now is off the charts. He was praticslly begging Giordano to pass him the puck in the defensive zone so he could take it up the ice.
