Ya, the inability to play hard for 60 minutes will kill us this year. We aren't going to have the same luck in the 3rd period this year.
Come on guys, need to play a full 60. They are playing emotionless hockey, play like they are the Canucks, how hard can that be?

Flames have been relentless on the puck in the Blues zone. Need to turn some of that pressure into goals. Trigger 3rd period comeback!

Flames scored even strength by speed and net crashing. They need to get back to that - not cycling and cross ice passes.
Gawd that Blues kid is huge.

Not sure that period was any worse than the first, the Blues just weren't on the PK all period long. Not even mad at this one, they just aren't ready to play at this level with a top team yet. Games like this remind us to think more like a rebuild team than a contender.

Agreed in that Flames are going through the motions out there. Not the same fire from last season. Hard to watch. one really good period so far this season which was against the Canucks, and the rest have been hard to watch.

You can't honestly believe a player like Byron would have any effect on a team like the Blues can you? He's a fringe NHL player at best.
