The Springbok Pack is just toying with the Americans in the scrum.
You can see them hold and then like flicking a switch they drive.

Scott Burger is not human.
This Boks pack is just manhandling the US in the scrum.

I dont know who the 'du Plessis' progenitor was, but that dude got around.
Pretty much every nation with Afrikaners has a du Plessis or two on it, that guy was setting up Franchises. Rugby franchises apparently.

Damn man, soccer needs more of this!
Quote:
NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, 9 OCT – When Stuart Hogg crashed to the St James’ Park turf in theatrical style last Saturday, after having a clearance kick charged down by the Springbok prop Tendai Mtawarira, Nigel Owens was not greatly impressed.
The wonderful Welsh referee, a part-time stand-up comedian, sidled across to Scotland’s prone full-back and remarked wryly: “Come back in two weeks’ time when the football is back.”
“I’ve taken a fair bit of stick for it,” Hogg confessed, after training with his team-mates at the Royal Grammar School ahead of their final Pool B encounter with Samoa at St James’ on Saturday.
“Obviously I made a mistake. There’s no room in rugby for that. I’ve apologised to the boys for that. It won’t be happening again, that’s for sure.”

I can't believe that is a 5 weeks ban. Players are told to knee drive into the tackle and power through.

Wow, two 900+KG packs. Did you see that first scrum? It looks like a bomb hit the turf.

LONDON, 9 Oct – Nick Blevins of Canada has been suspended for five weeks for a dangerous tackle contrary to Law 10.4(e).
Following a review of all camera angles, Blevins was cited by independent Citing Commissioner Yves Thieffine (France) under Law 10.4(e) for a ‘dangerous tackle’ in the Rugby World Cup 2015 Pool D match against Romania at Leicester on 6 October.
Blevins admitted committing an act of foul play.

Don't remember the play to be honest.
The bans being given to Tier 2 nations seem to be greater than Tier 1, but I haven't look to closely.

No way they give this suspension to a Tier 1 nation.
Also what is the deal with the Canadians having to pay their way home? Is this a World Rugby or Rugby Canada mess up?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rug...-way-home.html
Hopefully with the next world cup in Japan there will be less bias against the Tier 2 teams.

I was kind of pulling for Samoa in this one, but Scotland and Wales are the only local teams left I guess.

So the Marquee matchup barely matters, its just for QF Positioning?
Kinda weak, I want to see who the teams send out, hopefully decent starting lineups.

I wouldn't say it barely matters. Loser plays South Africa in the QF & likely the All Blacks in the SF if they get past that game. Winner has a much easier path to the Final. Lots to play for.

Sucks that Hooper is suspended, I like him, he strikes me as the kind of guy with a quiet psychotic vibe. We've all played with that one guy thats generally quiet but occasionally just goes nuts.

I checked the lineups and the Australian starting XV looks pretty close to full strength. Can't speak for the Welsh, I'm not as familiar with them.

France/Ireland tomorrow will be both full strength. Guaranteed on that. Winner avoids the ABs for Argentina

They keep mentioning that Australia have new players available to them due to a change in regulations, can anyone expand on that?
Also, it appears that 'Khal Drogo' plays flanker for Australia.
