I hate how the ref needs to explain the rules for overtime. Just flip the coin and get the game going again

Too often theses OTs are decided by a coin flip. Stupid.

Yeah, there's really no reason they can't give the other side a possession too. This format is dumb.

i like this format most, it has all three aspects of football, offense defense and special teams. If the Cowboys had held the Saints in the opening drive, the Saints have no punter!

The only other solution would be the play the entire 15 minutes (which I would also support)

The CFL shootout system takes out special teams and practically defense as well.

Was behind all game on the PVR, love the 80 yard Brees walk off TD for 400. Easily his best game of the season, good to see coming off that shoulder injury.

That's not the only solution. You just give both team one possession and keep going if it remains tied.

Was always kind of an underwhelming hire. That whole Incognito thing kind of showed how there was a lack of leadership in that locker room and the team spending all that money in the offseason and playing terribly kind of shows Philbin has never really had a grasp of the team. Also another cautionary tale of overspending in free agency not paying off.

No surprise with Philbin. With the Dolphins having a bye, that's when teams tend to replace a coach in season when they're still hoping to salvage something.
