Sharks name Joe Pavelski as Captain

Dan Rusanowsky @DanRusanowskyThe #SJSharks have named Joe Pavelski their captain. @Logancouture and Joe Thornton will wear alternate captain "A" this season.

They just never tire of slapping Marleau and Thornton in the face.

I think it's basically become a more passive aggressive version of the "George Costanza at Play Now" situation. They can't fire/trade them, so they keep trying to embarrass them into leaving.

What's the over under on when they will strip him of his captaincy to give to Couture?

Well played.

I'll see you in hell Thornton and Marleau.

I have no strong opinion one way or the other about this. I wish the Sharks all the lack of success in the world.
Just happy the Flames are in the position they are. No apparent problem players, a cohesive group, a great coach and Captain & a management team with a plan for the future and the knack for great hockey trades.

Hahah, it never ends for Big Joe and Marleau. I even just bought NHL 16 and electronic SJ is always trying to push those 2 guys out, even though they are good.

Yep. Always on the block when you fire up a new GM mode. I haven't made any digital trade offers in the hopes that a digital controversy may ensue.
