Realistically speaking though, neither City nor United should have any trouble with 'Gladbach or Wolfsburg.
Two of the most expensive clubs in the world against mid-table German clubs? Those should be three guaranteed points each.

yup, but realistically speaking, Arsenal shouldn't have had any trouble with Olympiakos and Zagreb either ... Bayern didn't even have to get out of their 2nd gear to trounce those clubs, it's simply embarrassing for a club like Arsenal to lose to those teams.
I still believe United and City will both win, but with everything I've seen of the English teams so far, I wouldn't be completely surprised if it's another bad day for English football tomorrow.

Yeah but Bayern and Arsenal are in totally different stratospheres of talent with, arguably, the top striker in the world right now.

at least the Real game will be on TSN tomorrow ... but it's against Malmo. However, Real have been making a habit of drawing games that should be sure wins lately, so who knows.
