@SUNMitchell: Tim Brown will be heading to the six-game injured list. No surgery needed. Nate Slaughter will play Saturday vs #Esks #CFL

Let me preface: I'm not into rumours. But in each talk with #CFL people, I'm asked: "what are you hearing of Hufnagel to Sask as HC and GM?"

Why would that even be a possibility? Stupid sask.

This is fabrication. There is zero chance the Riders could speak with Huff during the season and there's zero chance Huff would do to the Stamps what Jones did to him. Absolutely zero chance this is true and shame on Madani for creating a distraction for the team.

Wouldn't that be the worst case of tampering ever in the middle of the season? Maybe they'd fine the riders 2k like they did the Argos when they stole Chris Jones.
Sounds like bs to me though.

I`m surprised there isnt a bigger outrage from that dirty hit on Tim Brown.
You can`t angle your tackle at a guy`s knees. There`s no excuse on this kind of hit

I actually would not be surprised if Huff left. He's 63 and probably likes his dual role but it might be the upper management wanting Dave Dickenson promoted thus not losing him.
So Huff might look elsewhere where both jobs are open. Kind of like the NJ Devils situation, the old guard kinda being pushed out.
Hope I'm wrong though.

I didn't like the tackle at the time it happened either, but Tim Brown doesn't think it was dirty...

Initially, Brown thought he broke his leg. For the record, he says hit by Jordan Lynch was completely clean: “He got lower than me.” #CFL

I believe when Huff was hired part of the deal was an ownership stake. Hard to imagine he would give that up to go to Regina just to coach and GM in that fishbowl and even coaches start to decline with age so I simply think this could be a bad way to end his career.

Don't go anywhere Huff. He's starting to turn out better than Buono was in his time here, and that's no small feat.

Supposedly the rumour out of Saskatchewan is that Huff and King are at odds. King is an easy target to create speculation based on his meddling with the Flames so part of me thinks this is just a convenient excuse to drum up controversy but part of me knows that King fully deserves his reputation as a meddler so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that he's getting overly involved to the point of ruffling feathers. We will have to wait until the offseason but if there is truth and King is involved it's going to be hard to ever forgive him for ruining what is such a well oiled machine.

Yeah geez. Better not be true. Why meddle when the guy is clipping along with a +.700 winning percentage in the regular season, has two Grey Cup's and has the team poised to continue those winning ways for the foreseeable future as well?

Down by 8, time for 1 play, ball on the Hamilton 23 yard line. Harris throws probably the lowest chance of completion throw he can, a deep corner route, and Hamilton picks it off and secures the victory
