Has our roster for the young stars tournament been released? I'm sure it has but I am struggling to find it. Any help?

I'm suprised the Flames havent released a roster for this yet. The tourney starts this week and the rookies report to the Saddledome today or tomorrow, dont they? I wonder what the Flames are waiting on here?

Just my crackpot theory, but I think they are waiting to see what Edmonton is bringing. If McDavid somehow goes then Edmonton might be bringing a bunch of meat heads.

Yeah, I dont think McDavid goes, hes really proven everything he needs to prove at the NHL level.

That means diddly squat. It's up to the Oilers how much he plays, if at all. Bet McDavid gets one game in vs the Jets or something.

That's what I meant. He'll make the trip and play at least a game. Doubt he plays Calgary though

And I should clarify. I think the oilers would've made it clear of he wasn't playing, not that the fact he's been advertised as the reason for playing. The oilers would do what's best for the player regardless of the tournament, but I think they'd have said he wasn't playing if they were planning on leaving him home

I bet he plays the first game (11th) and the last game(14th).

Playing him in back to back games right off the bat seems a little pointless.

The Oilers are only bringing 15 forwards so its possible he plays all three, but I doubt it.

Yah I think the Oilers would announce that McDavid isn't playing. Considering the Oilers organized a trip for fans out there, I would assume that meant you would at least have a chance to see him.
