Some of those guys were given pretty bad rosters to work with. Brian Sutter in particular squeezed blood out of a stone.

I find it interesting that Crisp who won a cup with a good team is considered behind coaches who were never able to get it done.

One year after winning the cup Crisp gets fired. That tells you something. He should have won more and if I remember it correctly he lost his poise against the Kings in the first round and that was part of the reason the Flames lost that series. I voted for King with Brian Sutter, Page and MacNeil also getting consideration.
