There would be visible signs of forced entry if true. A lie detector is not a relieable test either and is easily dismissed in court whether he passed or not.

Told that the district attorney asked to investigate this case means it might not be pretty for Kane, forget her name but apparently she the head honcho for DI's in western NY and a real badass.

Rape is obviously an extremely serious crime, and a different type of crime than something like theft, property destruction, driving while intoxicated, or the use or selling of illegal drugs.

Patrick Kane should not play while under investigation.

On the issue of making victims afraid to come forward, much much more damage is done by women that make false accusations this creates mistrust of actual victims. What makes the whole thing worse is some groups vastly broadening the definition of rape to the point of absurdity, this trivializes woman that are actually raped and does them a huge disservice and is incredibly disrespectful.

And with all due respect, Zamler, which in this case is just about none, I would suggest that your attitude is far more damaging than a false accusation is. I am sure it is the former.

If it was the latter, it would be irresponsible of him to imply the case is "flimsy" before the evidence can be completely analyzed. I would imagine a proper investigation takes longer than this, nor should an officer be giving an opinion on likely guilt.
