I'm no expert but I see the case being dropped before a lie detector test unless the allegations are true, makes sense? This is obviously disregarding all court proceedings.
There would be visible signs of forced entry if true. A lie detector is not a relieable test either and is easily dismissed in court whether he passed or not.

They ask people of their experiences, calculate the number of incidences from there and compare that to the number of incidences reported.

That's not the hard part.

The hard part is defining "incidence".

Told that the district attorney asked to investigate this case means it might not be pretty for Kane, forget her name but apparently she the head honcho for DI's in western NY and a real badass.

Rape is obviously an extremely serious crime, and a different type of crime than something like theft, property destruction, driving while intoxicated, or the use or selling of illegal drugs.

Patrick Kane should not play while under investigation.

Practice, fine, but not play.

And with all due respect, Zamler, which in this case is just about none, I would suggest that your attitude is far more damaging than a false accusation is. Primarily because you are just feeding the belief that nobody will believe a rape victim anyway, so why bother reporting it? Victims are afraid to come forward because of people like you.

And don't try to use "teh SJWs" as a shield for your arguments.

But I also have no doubt that some of these people have enough of an ego that, because of their status, they can't handle the odd time they are rejected by someone.

However, the fact that she went to the hospital is a pretty big flag that SOMETHING happened.
Because rape is so often about domination, control, etc.. Reddit had this interesting discussion where men who said they had raped answered what motivated them, with a grain of salt of course, but it is interesting anyhow.

The Kane discussion got buried, but....

http://www.buffalonews.com/city-regi...ation-20150806

• A young local woman has alleged that Kane, 26, took her to his Hamburg waterfront home and raped her after meeting her in a downtown Buffalo nightclub Saturday night or early Sunday.

• Police searched the Chicago Blackhawks star’s waterfront home on Sunday, looking for evidence.

• The alleged victim went to a local hospital, where she was examined for physical signs that she had been raped.

• The prosecutor assigned to the case is Roseanne Johnson, who specializes in sexual assault cases and heads the Special Victims Unit in the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.

• Kane is being represented in connection with the probe by a top Buffalo defense attorney, Paul J. Cambria Jr., who also represented Kane in 2009 after he and his cousin were accused of roughing up a Buffalo cab driver.

Matthew Scianitti @TSNScianitti
Hearing Hamburg police will make a statement shortly about Patrick Kane. Local media growing in front of police station #NHL

edit: maybe a joke. He then edited the tweet to include a picture of a deserted police station.

Of course he's guilty. Meets a girl in a club late at night partying. They both go back to his place. Let's have tea so he said. Of course it's all about money. Civil lawsuit ensues.

That is a comment open to a lot of interpretation

Wasting your time in waiting around the police station waiting for some news to break out?

or

Wasting your time in the case seems flimsy?

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and not assume that you are stating that "going home with someone" implies consent.

I am sure it is the former.

If it was the latter, it would be irresponsible of him to imply the case is "flimsy" before the evidence can be completely analyzed. I would imagine a proper investigation takes longer than this, nor should an officer be giving an opinion on likely guilt.

Frankly, I have no idea what he (or she) is trying to communicate with that post.
