Once you get bored at like 1000 hours in, get the expansion. Totally different gameplay with espionage and religion really changing things up. Tons of new civilizations, units, etc

Civ V was great money spent. I think I wound up sinking 500 or so hours into it. It only really became a decent game with gods and kings. Then it became a fantastic game with BNW.
Hoping that Civ 6 will be great from the get go as they have the same lead designer who did BNW

Brave New World is awesome.
It further rounds out the game, gives you different/better ways to win.

What difficulty do ya'll play on? I feel like I've hit a ceiling and can't progress to the next setting.
Before I admit what level I play on I want to know what everybody else plays. That way I can judge you before you judge me

I can beat the game on Immortal but find it really difficult.
I've been trying to win a diety game for months and I can barely make it to the renaissance without getting wiped out.
Science victories are the easiest depending on what Civ you choose so I'd suggest going that route to start with.

Hello,
I have a code if anyone wants it - shoot me a PM.
I looked at the requirements and I don't have the correct OS and I really don't feel like upgrading (I currently run Snow Leopard and it runs fine). I just need to convince Baroness Kriterium that she needs a MacPro and then I will be set.
