			I was starting to get my hopes up that the Oilers were going to offer sheet him.
 Would have loved to get a couple first overall picks.

			Not surprised, now we just have to see what the dollars and term are. 
 If, and this is a huge 'if,' Treliving gets him for something like $5.5M/8 years I may have to drive down to the 'Dome and give him a hug.
 
 But I think thats deliriously wishful thinking. I'm happier if its under $7M per year.

They can indeed because the Flames picked up his rights. I'm not a fan of those monster deals normally but to offer it on relatively low dollars to someone in their early 20s I'd have done it in a heartbeat.
