All the recent changes to jerseys over the past couple seasons have been terrible. All three of those suck royally, especially the Oilers jersey.

I feel dirty saying it, but I actually love that Oilers jersey, think it's really sharp.

Exact opposite here. I thought they hit a home run with the updated retros they've been wearing the last few years.

This new 3rd is horrible.

I like what Arizona did though.

Yeah, they look better with the full uniform. I'm not really a fan of monochrome uniforms, so it's a nice change that way.



I would have put the black stripe lower on the sleeve. The way it is, it looks like they're wearing black armbands, as if they're in mourning.

Oilers jersey is pylon orange. Fitting.

Though this was discussed in the original E=NG thread, the only reason the Oilers are those colors was that the owner chose though, directly hoping to line up corporate sponsorship with Gulf Resources, which have/had the same colors in their logo. The Oilers board turned down the deal...but, in true E=NG fashion, kept the logo and colors anyways, essentially giving that sponsorship/association away for free.

The wore those monstrosities 2 years in the WHA, 1 of those years as the Alberta Oilers (gag), and finished an unspectacular (though they'd take this record now) 88-86-6 over 2 seasons.

As for other smaller details:

-Columbus has changed their shoulder patch to the logo that's on the third jersey.

-Arizona has different patches...an A inside a Coyote paw on home jerseys, and a outline of the state with "AZ" on the roads.

-Montreal has a single color collar (no blue in there) now, and the shield is "NHL" on the roads and "LHN" as mentioned above on the homes.

-White laces on Ducks jersey.

-The Caps retired the white alternate (the 80's with the red and blue stars) and replaced it with the similar era red alternate from the 80's.
