Getzlaf? Surely, you mean Perry...

I'd have to go Getzlaf / Perry - skill and size - Getzlaf is a beast

Getzlaf/Perry. Skill and size > skill.
Also I gotta laugh at people saying they wouldn't take Perry because he's scum. That's true, but that shouldn't take away from how talented he his.

We're talking for one game? Getzlaf and Perry... Toews is slightly overrated despite being a great player, Getzlaf is slightly underrated, and Corey Perry is both insanely productive and a huge pain in the ass to play against. I mean, there's only one guy among the four of them who's won the Hart.
Obviously they're older though so I guess if you were building a team you'd take the 26/27 year olds over the 30 year olds.

It's a tough one.
For me, Toews and Kane for two reasons. One, Kane is not the same player he was two years ago, or even last year. He is now a 200 ft complete player and one that scores big goals at big times. Toews is the constant, but Kane's ascension to one of the best players in the game is a big reason why Chicago is still playing.
Two: There is no denying that Getzlaf is an elite player, but for all of his gifts, how does he not have 100pts every year? He is a beast of a man with Kane like skill. He is the closest thing to a Lindros style package of size and skill. He should dominate every single shift. But he doesn't.

He does right now. He looks unstoppable every shift. It could be this is just the moment he finally decided to be the best player in the world.

Perry has made a career out of banging in getzlafs shots, crying to the ref, embellishing, yet playing the dirtiest style I've ever seen. Absolutely despise him.
Going into our series with anaheim i was convinced i would despise Kesler after the dust settled, but he has seemed to mature a bit and just played his game and skated away after. Perry is still the same little punk we always knew he was.

Kane and Toews for sure.
Getzlaf and Perry are having a fantastic season and are really on top of their game right now, but Kane and Toews are this good every year.
They are also more flexible. There are all kinds of different ways to utilize them, depending on teammates and the style of game.
Crosby
Toews
Getzlaf
Kane
Perry
Malkin

IMO, they are playing their best right now. They (especially Getzlaf) have never been this dominant.

Kane and Toews but factoring in contracts Getzlaf and Perry save a combined $4M per when compared to the Chicago duo so if I am building a team I take them

It depends what the rest of my team looks like.
If the rest of the team core is a bit older I'd be tempted to go with Getzlaf and Perry as they are over $4 million dollars cheaper starting next season.
That would give me more cap space to go for it over the next 4-5 years.
If the core is younger/ not quite ready to contend then Toews and Kane would be the choice.

I would go Getzlaf and Perry as well. Size and skill. Pain in the ass players like Perry are awesome if they are on your team (see Fluery).

Kane and Toews.
If I were to build a team and factored in contracts, I think I would rather have Getzlaf and Perry.
