Double overtime, double gin and tonic. I guess it is past Mike Milbury's bedtime.

Sharp makes a play behind the Duck net...Vermette from scratch to hero!

Nice goal.
Four games into the third round, and Anaheim still hasn't lost in regulation.

I hope Chicago can take the lead in game 5.

The SOG didn't reflect it but i thought Chicsgo was just faster to pucks along the side boards in this game. Anaheim didn't really deserve to win this one, even if they got screwed by the refs a bit with that soft call in the third, Chicago was the better team.

I realize anything can happen but I have a hard time seeing either the Rangers or Lightning defeating the winner of this series as this series is two elite teams going toe to toe. Surprisingly the Eastern Final has been quite entertaining but a lot of that has to do with both teams playing sloppy and I don't see that kind of hockey measuring up against the Hawks/Ducks.

I agree, the WCF is the Stanley Cup.

I expect that for the remainder of the post season, barring another defensive injury, that Timonen will have a seat in the press box...
The 'Hawks have recalled Trevor Van Reimsdyk, and Q showed a lot of confidence in the kid, before his injury. I expect TVR and Cumiskey to be #5 and #6 on D, with both getting spot minutes, with top 4 partners double shifting...perhaps a little more ice time each, but, both around 10 to 12 minutes TOI, and TVR getting a little PP time if the 'Hawks have the lead in the third (instead of the 4th forward).

Only way I see the WCF winner losing in the Cup finals is if any more games go to double OT+. Heck even another couple of single OT's and those gas tanks will be on E for the Cup finals. Except maybe if the Ducks make it through. They've only had this series so far as a real test.

I thought the first OT was totally dominated by the Ducks. Completely.

On the 3 goals in 37 seconds...I am still enraged that Kesler and Maroon didn't get O-zone penalty calls immediately prior to the Kesler and Perry scores, respectively.
Kesler was clearly guilty of holding the stick of Bryan Bickell when Bickell initially tried to pursue the puck...Then on Perry's goal, Maroon gets away with a classic "check from behind" on Hjalmarsson to force the turnover that leads to the goal.
I'll take the win, but, it amazes me, the gutless officiating that seems to consistently go the Ducks way
