Editing html code in Chrome

Ladies and gentlemen
I am looking for some assistance.
I have an email signature written in html in Chrome.
I need to be able to edit the signature for different people in our company but I dont know how to edit it.
Can anyone offer some assistance? I tried doing the "inspect element" reveal source and then tried to edit it but it wont let me delete information and save it.
Is there another way I can edit this signature? and be able to save it for all the different email users in our company?
And please remember, I am not a strong technical person. Just an old guy trying to learn. So you may have to dummy this down for me.

You don't write HTML in Chrome, and you don't need to edit HTML to make an email signature.

All you should need to do is copy the rendered signature (not the HTML) into your email signature editor of choice (every email client should let you edit that signature).
