One of the best all time Flames games, period. Unbelievable and so fitting to win the series on a comeback.
And hey, I said my kid was good luck for the Flames -- 5-1 when he watches. We won the Stanley Cup in game 6 when I was 18 days old, knocked out Vancouver in game 6 with him 19 days old. Hopefully some luck in the second round too!
And Canucks fans, in the words of that Go Daddy ad... STICK IT

Just got home, was the greatest sporting event I've ever been able to attend. Words don't describe the emotions. The atmosphere on the mile after the game was incredible, this city is fully behind the team. Can't wait for Round 2.

In the not too distant past 3-0 down 10 minutes into the first at 2:30 am would have been a no brainer and a full night of sleep would have been had.
Not now - not with these guys. An hour after the game and a mad dash to find a shirt when my buddy Skyped me while watching in my boxers, I was still buzzing.
Win or lose, these guys give you something to get behind almost every night.
Yeah, it looked like he was in front of the handshake line for the Nucks. The CBC feed shows him there, about to shake hands with Ferland, but then cuts away and you don't see him again

I dont mind Bieska as much as most people here. He plays hard and has an edge to him.
Hes more fit to be captain then the Sedins. Henrick cant even lead the handshake line.

I'm watching The Reporters right now on TSN. They are clueless about the west. Couldn't stop talking about Calgary fast enough so they could start talking about Montreal/Ottawa. At least Simmons isn't on this morning. That guy has a lot of crow to eat. He's been very clear that he isn't impressed with Gaudreau.

Yea I actually saw that on TV as well, Bieksa had a good talk with Ferland that looked like all class. Bieksa took his licks this series and he manned up to them at the end, good on him.
