What a game! I am still in shock, never quit in these boys and it is awesome! I said this before, I think this year is going to exceed 2004. This group has so much class and is so well rounded with a great coach too boot.
I will be there to watch the Honda Center curse get squashed from everyone's thoughts.
This team will never quit and we will take this next series in 5.
I may be wrong on the charging definition but can't you take as many steps as you want and then coast into the hit? That's what I saw Ferland doing all series. He never strode into the hits. Can anyone clarify? I find that to be an extremely effective way to hit and not a penalty.
Kerry Fraser wrote an article this week on it on tsn.ca.
Coasting in is fine.

Regardless of what happens the rest of the way, that Stajan goal is one of those moments that will go down as a big one for this organization. Because of when it was scored, who it was against, who scored it and what that man has been through. All of those reasons and more. Sports is about moments that that one is a moment.
And it was a perfect shot. Absolutely no room for error. He's been awesome in the faceoffs as well.
Fans will always complain, just look at CP and the complaining about calls.
Sven is a player though and showed why the Flames moves away from so much skill through his comments tonight. Literally they were the first words out of his mouth when asked about the game. Unreal! Another poster said it perfectly that Sven never looks inward as the issue.
Contrast him with Desjardins who was asked specifically about the penalty and he just said calls go both ways and it's happened to both teams, gotta fight through it. That's it. Credit to him.
Seriously Sven was a non factor, and looked like he was coasting for the last two games. Hardly a guy that is going to make an impact.
The Canucks will learn what we know. Sven for all his skills is a 10 cent player, he got into his own head early and never escaped from the cobwebs.

I want a Cup as bad as any Flames fan but beating Vancouver in the playoffs when you live in Vancouver...that's a very close runner up to the big prize.

Refs were terrible all around. Don't complain about the goalie interference call when the refs missed a bad interference call on Colborne on the 1st that led to a Canucks goal.
Shlemko also picked on the goal...anyway guy is a loser, look how many rookies the Flames have they obviously give guys every opportunity
Canucks now have to either gift him a spot on the roster or put him on waivers
oh, and give him a contract this summer
I'll take the 2nd rounder thanks
