LOL!!! Just got back from Coco Bongo in Playa Del Carmen to see a Flames win!!! Awesome night!!! Made even better by the fact that the table next to us had an Oiler fan pumped about the lottery win! Nice guy (pretty sure he's tossing his cookies now), but I'll take this season & playoffs any day over a lottery win (poor McDavid). Go Flames Go!!!

Here's the Sedin / Engelland stick exchange.

Unfortunately it cuts off before he hands it over.

On the plus side, here's Ferly's monster hit:

Yep. Pressure is definitely on the team that has 3 chances to eliminate you and not the team that needs to win out...

Silly Bieksa.

It's like Bieska is Opposite George from Seinfeld. No matter what the question, his answer is the opposite of reality.

These are great. Just want to re-emphasize D Wideman and his contribution tonight. He nailed it.

Edit- did some quick checking via flames Facebook highlights and at the 8min mark of the 3rd u see two guys in yellow, then in the next highlight around 6 something u see only one
CBC showed a brief close up of those guys. That yellow jersey had the Canuck's "skate" logo on it from the 90's but the striping looked off, like it was a Bruins jersey with the Canucks logo or something. You could also see he had the same neon shirt on underneath.

Regardless, probably both were Canucks fans. Figures.

This season has been so much fricken fun already. I seriously can't believe we have a death grip on this series.

The Canucks are going to be tough to break down these next couple of games. I expect they'll be using their multi-millionaire backup goalie from here on. To close this one out we'll need a good contribution from Monahan next game. I fully expect number 23 to close out this series, just like another legendary 23, the Eliminator.

Also, did anyone else see the video on Gamecenter of Giordano testing out his wrist, doing stickhandling drills in the warm up? Maybe people saw him live... How's he looking?

Business like effort from the Flames. It felt like a regular season win besides scoring all the goals in the first. They were calm, cool and collected and didn't take any dumb penalties like the Canucks.

Hiller was great, Wideman was fantastic and Ferland is a monster. Also glad to see Hudler get into a groove.

Close it out on Thursday. How's that for relevance?

This is where Hartley's 7 game sections through the season really come to life. The team are just concentrating on one 7 game series at a time and really taking it to the Nucks, the just have no answer for the flames.

So hoping the get through to the 2nd round as I will be visiting Calgary in early May and really want to experience the atmosphere in town.
