Not that I'm condoning what Ducay and some other fans are saying about him deserving it but keep in mind, Burrows is a guy who sent someone to the hospital in a ball hockey game by cross checking the other guy in the mouth. Sure it's only a game and these guys are still people but some people are jerks. I'm sure there are people who actually met him outside of hockey and wish him ill will.

I just hope it's not life threatening but would be ok if it was career threatening as hockey would probably be better off without him playing because of some of his on ice antics.

Most people would probably characterize the sudden premature end of one's career as "ill".

A cut maybe? Or something that caused him to go into shock?

He's a twerp on the ice.

But he is still a human being off of it. The same could be said of Ferland by Nucks fans if the tables were reversed, and you would be chastising them for it.

You gotta take off the home team blinders sometimes.

Twitter and elsewhere seems to think possible seizure/stroke/heart issue? Canucks doing everything to dispel those rumours.

Bit strong of a statement sure, but I'll stand by it. Again, don't want the guy to die or be maimed or mauled by a bear, but I would be glad if he didn't play another game. Guy has millions in the bank, I'm not advocating murdering the guy. Geez. Take a breather people

I didn't read anything about him being treated at the rink, if it was a cut, they wouldn't be taking him for precautionary reasons,

Maybe he sprained it or broke it and is going for X-Rays or an MRI

I really dislike the player burrows but reading that comment is honestly sickening hope he is ok and makes a full recovery so I can go back to hating him on the ice

Panic attack when he had a flashback of the Ferland train running him over in Game 3.

If his job is to hurt other teams players with his do$%&bag style of play then his good riddance (from the game) can't come soon enough. His style of play is not needed in the league. He's less than a .5ppg cheap shot artist and as long as it's not a health scare then I say who cares if he's hurt. Bring on little Sven. Should be a fun night.

I've seen quite a bit of this in the last 30 minutes. People think it could be heart related due to how he was holding his arm/wrist and apparently was somewhat breathless when he was calling for help.

Scary stuff.
