Hahaha...I forgot about this dumb video we did in 2009 about the colour red...sorry for the craptacular sound - it was out first time with those mics, but you get the idea.
Wearing red >>>>>>> all your silly personal superstitions.
It's really not that hard, people. Just wear red. Any red will do. A red suit, red pyjamas...whatever. Even if it's not Flames related, non-Flames-related red is better than white-Flames. A red Stamps jersey or Man U shirt is better than your super favourite white Flames jersey that was signed by the 89 cup winning team that you believe is somehow magical.
Red. There are no exceptions.

Yes there were some people not wearing red, but for the first home game of the playoffs it was a pretty damn awesome red turnout as far as I'm concerned.
Gives me goose bumps when they flash the red lights and the players come out haha. So awesome.

Those should be the only jersey's worn to the dome, and to anyone who sold their tickets to Canucks fans... Shame on you.
Sorry, but there is nothing wrong with any of the red Flames jerseys over the past 35 years. Many people have their horsehead shoulder patch jerseys from 2003-2007 (ish) and there's nothing wrong with it.
A red Team Canada jersey is also acceptable; unless it is a Luongo jersey.

I am a fan of the (properly coloured) Heritage Classic jersey, and would like to see the Flames wear it on ice again in the future, but i agree wholeheartedly that they are not appropriate to be worn at a home playoff game.

I actually think that any red jersey with the black C makes the C of Red look especially threatening. The black accents seem to make the red stand out more and makes the overall effect deeper. Look at pics of the dome during the 2004 playoffs vs the ones in the 80s and you'll see what I mean. Any jersey with the white C seems to stick out more and kind of breaks up the red effect. That said, this is just an observation and I really don't care which jersey you wear to the game as long as it is RED.
White road jerseys and the McDonald's heritage classic jerseys are a non-starter in the C of red, as are the black horse head ones (although IMO they don't stick out nearly as badly)
WEAR RED!!!

I'd rather see fans in Canucks jerseys than in white or green Flames jerseys.
No. Canuck fans should be turned away at the door. Just don't tell them it's because they are Canuck fans.
Now, I guess we could extend this to improperly worn white Flames jerseys. And it would actually make sense for the Flames to do this to people wearing knockoff Heritage Classics that are so easy to see from miles away.
I'd rather see fans in Canucks jerseys than in white or green Flames jerseys.
Other inappropriate wardrobe choices that I saw in game 3 from the C of red:
Black horse head
Pink flames jerseys
Full black with red outlines in the neon jersey theme
St. Patty's day jerseys
Away jerseys
Yellow flames hoodie
Business suit guy
Full riders track suit
There weren't many not wearing red but the ones that don't stick out like a sore thumb.
