But now a company called Anovos is bringing classic and the new Stormtrooper armor from "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" to the masses - for a price.
Star Wars Celebration is coming to an end in Anaheim, California today, but before the convention winds down, fans got the first plot details for the first spinoff movie Rogue One. The plot was confirmed as centering on a group who go on a mission to steal plans for the Death Star.
Wonder why that Battlefront trailer had PS4 posted at the start and end of it. The game isn't a PS4 exclusive, it's coming out for Xbox One and PC, same day.

Sony paid $$$$ for the marketing rights.
Expect them to release some special edition stuff to go along with the release.
The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to SuperMatt18 For This Useful Post:
In the EU we had Jaina and Jacen Solo the twins of the Solo's both of whom became key members of the reformed Jedi Knights. Eventually Jacen fell to the dark side of the force and because Darth Caedus (who was terrible by the way).
the theory here is that while the EU has now become a alternative time line, that they liked the above story line. So what I'm hearing is that Rey and Kylo Ren are the twin sibblings of Han Solo and Leia. Rey basically becomes a run away as she doesn't want anything to do with her family history, and Kylo falls to the darkside and wants to become a Lord of the Sith (which explains the Revan type mask which is still canon

Wonder if they're completely changing the story of how the Death Star Plans came to the Rebels. I remember that Kyle Katarn stole the plans in Dark Forces 1.
But if this is a movie with no Jedi in it, it just salts away how powerful the empire was.
Wonder if Vader makes a cameo appearance in this as he's the one that tries to hunt down the plans.

Wasn't it the Bothans? They even say in the movie that many Bothans died to get them those plans

I can believe Daisy Ridley being related to Adam Driver

I'd imagine it'll be very similar to how Sony had Destiny with exclusive content on the PS4. Sheer playerbase number wise, it'll also likely be the platform to be on for that game if you're not on PC.
Apparently Major Nelson forgot to edit the trailer on his site:

Didn't they come out and say that any expanded universe stuff was basically amounting to 'legends', non-canon, and that everything they make from now on is the official canon?
it wont be, it says in-game engine so its essentially cut scenes, the last 30 seconds might be actual game footage but the endor stuff definitely isnt
I've been saying since the new consoles came out that developers/publishers insistence on having last gen versions of every game is holding games back significantly. We're seeing it with stuff like The Witcher 3 and Batman that are only on new platforms and they look fantastic. I wouldn't be surprised if the game can actually look this good.

So why is everyone losing their s**t over this and declaring that they're pre-ordering, finally buying a console/upgrading a PC etc.? Might as well make a judgment based on the box art.
