I'd love to see Big Earn lay some smack down, but he's never been the type to grab someone and pummel them, and no one on Vancouver would go anywhere near him as far as fighting goes.
So outside of that, he'd play less minutes than Potter and would be a waste.
It should stop being mentioned - not because I don't want to hear it, but because it's just a terrible idea that won't happen.

I'm all for moving Ferland up to the top line to ride shotgun for Monahan and Hudler and moving Johnny to the second line with Backlund and Colborne.
We need to spread out the offense.
Plus if Desjardin who I lost a ton of respect for puts the Sedins out against Ferland then you tell Ferland to line them up and hit them clean but, hit them through the body. Oh and if he see's Richardson he should take whatever liberties that he wants to.
I'm more concerned about our defense, Engellend has been a warrior and if we go without him, we have to hope that Wotherspoon can step in and step up.

Yeah they were showing some replays of it in one of the intermissions, it did look fairly bad but one angle showed his feet being kicked out from under him pretty much.

You're right it just re-enforces my opinion that the Internet isn't for everyone. Personally I really like the idea of the annual purge.

Actually... It's not a terrible idea. We keep Potter on the bench to play 3 minutes so why not have Grats there for the same thing. For a situation like this. Throw him out in a situation like this, take the fine, win the battle, pay the fine, and win the war. It is not a terrible idea. The canucks dive and whine and suck their way into a ###-ton of PPs and then do things like this at the end of the game. Let's have a guy out there who can put an end to this and make them stand up and play hockey. It's only Game 3 coming up. It is not too early/ate to take this series into our own hands. They want to bring this kind of bush-league crap, why is a bad idea to put and end to it?
