This is a third period team, they have been all year long. They'll win this.

Pretty pathetic effort so far for a team fighting for their playoff lives against the worst team in the conference. Watching the Coyotes dictate the play so easily in that period was just sad

Cue dominant Flames 3rd period.
Crowd is loud tonight, a couple of big chants and Bouma got a big cheer as he went off the ice after his block.

I didnt feel the Flames were 'that' bad, the Coyotes just went ahead and trapped their way to a bouncing goal

They weren't great the last half of the second but they dominated the first. I don't think they're effort has been pathetic at all.
Their ability to put pucks in the net, now that has been pathetic.

Only reason the Yotes are in this game is Mike Smith. Flames have been the better team by far. They've got this. Just need use their speed and keep putting pucks on net.

I agree. Tough to keep up the first period pace all game. Hopefully they get that urgency back next period.

Doug Maclean has no idea what he is talking about with the Jets...they can certainly still miss.

Also the Flames offensive rushes in the 2nd period consisted of too many passes that eventually were broken up with no shot on net. They need to put the puck on the net faster and go for the rebound or garbage bounce. They are trying to set up the perfect shot and blowing too many chances doing it.

It's the stupid clog and grind tactics that I despise, but one Johnny shift to tilt the ice again coming up!

A win in regulation is best, but OT is just as good.

Oilers are so awful in the neutral zone. They need at least a couple more goals if they are going to have a chance.
