There's also never been an Oilers playoff game in HD.

Lasagna + work is now 2-0-0. This is unsustainable.

1 for 1 on the power play and no penalties taken. Good game.

Taylor Hall may be the most one dimensional player I've ever seen. He can be dangerous on the rush, but the moment he has to slow up and figure out how to use his team mates to setup a play he's completely lost, and his "defensive game" is well known at this point. He's like the polar opposite of Gaudreau, he uses his size and speed to enter the offensive zone and sometimes get a good shot off, but he possesses very little hockey knowledge and turns into a liability the moment he's knocked off stride. Couple that with his total lack of self preservation and I don't see his NHL career lasting all that long

This is absolutely MIND BLASTING!:

Oh yeah, one regulation win against the division. One. Swept by the Ducks, Flames and Coyotes. Probably the Canucks too and essentially the Kings.
And they will probably be swept by the Canucks. So 4 teams in their division get the full 10 points out of them. This explains why it is going to take 97-98 points to get in. The Oilers are so horrible, they essentially handicapped the entire CONFERENCE by +/- 5 points. The league honestly should be getting involved in this mess, and I am not even joking.

We are only 2 points behind Vancouver now with the tiebreaker if we catch them in ROW. Monday night will be interesting

More awesome Oilers HF comments:

You know who are the real heroes in all of this?

Oiler fans who DONT live in Edmonton or even Alberta! You guys deserve medals for sticking with this trash team.

If I wasn't a loyal born and raised Edmontonian I'd bail on this team so fast it would make your head spin!

The flames fans in my sections were trying to start a "how's the rebuild chant"

Thats pretty funny actually. Its too bad it didn't catch on....Oiler fans should have joined in.
Some anger towards the Flames:

Will be funnier when they crash and burn next year. They weren't even that good tonight.

Colorado will be better than them in the long term IMO.

The Oilers summed up in a 5 second clip. Total failure.

On HNIC Friedman just said that the Flames have confirmed Ramo has a groin injury with an MRI scheduled for tomorrow. Doesn't sound good.

It's too bad the "How's the rebuild?" chant didn't get going. That would have been great.

At least it's not the knee.

Goes without saying, but it's still extremely tight. It's possible that the Flames fall out of a playoff spot before their game against the Coyotes (Winnipeg beating the Wild, the Kings beating the Canucks) but end up 2nd in the Pacific with a win against Arizona later that night.

Groin injuries are a nightmare. You can play with them if they are not too bad, but they tend to drag on forever. Had one last year that lasted me all the way from Spring rec hockey..all the way to the next winter.

Side note, Sorry about your Panthers CFF
