I might be remembering incorrectly but I am pretty sure Wotherspoon did play the right side last year when he was called up. He was paired with Smid who played the left side.

That would be surprising as Huska has seemed to made it a point to have a RHS paired with Wotherspoon in all the games I can recall.

Just checked my archives from his games last season and yep it was mostly:
Smid - Wotherspoon

But also some shifts as:
Wotherspoon - Brodie

Brodie is more comfortable in the right side. That combo could work nicely for us. Maybe not as a regular pairing but they could certainly see time together.

Wotherspoon will be the red-headed step-son tomorrow, with the recall of Bennett.

I'm still excited for Tyler regardless. I'm very excited to finally see him play.

Good for Tyler honestly. Pressure off of him lol. Wotherspoon plays an invisible game anyways. Which is exactly what the D-corps needs. Invisible, steady play.

I hope he plays too but the last time he was called up IIRC Hartley chose Potter to play.

I'm excited to see the kid as well. But there seems to be a relatively subdued tone towards him from management. Was just listening to Treliving's brief chat with Pat (re: Bennett) and again, he was very measured in his appraisal.

Hopefully it just had to with him coming back from injury and gaining confidence once again. I thought he handled himself really well last year and have been surprised that he's not received a minute of ice time this year.

Everyone seems to be talking like he is going to play... Has it been announced or suggested by Hartley/treliving that Wotherspoon is actually going to play? Just asking cause I know he's been called up a few times this year but hasn't dressed for a game once. Plus potter has been up with the team the whole time.

Would love to see spoon play. Hate the timing of this though. Would of liked the kid to see some action earlier in the season first.

Don't get me wrong, kids gonna be fine. I have faith in him.

Though Wotherspoon is a left-hand shot he seemed pretty adept at playing on the right side of D. He should be a good partner for Schlemko while Diaz is out.

I just hope they don't play Potter like they did last time Wotherspoon got called up. My heart can't take that again lol.
