This is not Stockton's first rodeo. A 7 person shooting near the rink isn't going to stop anyone from the Stockton area from going to a game.

Me on the other hand, I may reconsider.

Don't care for the logo much looks like a O&G brand then a sports logo.

I know nothing about Stockton but just from looking at the two areas on Google Street Maps... the arena is in nice area and a few blocks away where this shooting was looks sketchy. Pretty similar to most downtown areas I've been in. The actual area is nice but a few blocks away there are some sketchy areas.

Defiantly some sketchy areas. I recall 6-7 years ago on a business trip to Stockton visiting a tanker service.
Hundreds of people living down by the Union Pacific rail yard in makeshift cardboard box huts.
It was pretty sad to see.

If it was an O&G logo it would be just the flames from the Heat logo followed by all lower case "stocktonheat" with the stockton being dull grey and the heat being red.

Reports out there that the AHL team in San Jose will be called the San Jose Barracuda.
Therefore the AHL pacific division will be:

San Jose Barracuda
Stockton Heat
Bakersfield Condors
Ontario Reign
San Diego Gulls

Before anyone looks it up, the plural of Barracuda is either "Barracuda" or "Baracudas".

I wonder how long until a few more teams join this division?

You'd think Vancouver, Phoenix and maybe even Minnesota, Colorado and Dallas might be interested in more western based affiliates.

Consider the parent team.

And then just be glad that the stupid fish isn't biting the stick in half.

I think Minnesota and Dallas would prefer their farm teams where they are in Iowa and Texas respectively, but Arizona, Colorado and Vancouver would make sense.

Not to mention the grip it is holding the hockey stick is such a bad example for the children!

San Jose Barracuda @sjbarracuda
Drum roll... The #SJBarracuda jerseys for 2015-16. White at @SAPCenter, Teal on the road and Orange as an alternate.

I'm not a marketing genius, but I would think you'd want the jerseys to differ more from the Sharks. Can't imagine selling a ton of look alike merchandise out of the same arena.

And even funnier this particular animal doesn't have hands but fins.

Oh, anatomical correctness went out the window with the Penguins. Not even no hands or fins but flippers. You cant hold a hockey stick with flippers.
