starter no, but I think he should be in the squad, we only have 4 real wide wingers at this point
Sterling/Townsend/Ox/Walcott
that central midfield was dreadful, team was so much better when Carrick come on for Smalling (Jones moving to CB) and then when Mason came on for Delph
when your playing 3 CMs, 2 have to be able to pass the ball, and we really only have 3 (Carrick, Henderson, and Mason) so 2 need to be playing at all times

How about Ashley f****ing Young? He gets ##### on so much, yet he's having a pretty decent season. I take him over Walcott & Ox. Yea, I said it. Considering his stature, he's pretty decent defensively as well.
And of course the team got better with Carrick on, he's England's best holder since Scholes.

I probably wouldn't take him over Ox, but yeah, Young is having a great season. If Townsend is in, Young definitely has to be as well.

- Netherlands vs. Iceland - Go Hannes Thór Halldórsson
- Belgium vs. Bosnia-Herzogovina - Give'em hell Divock Origi!
- Czech Rep. vs. Kazakhtstan - Go Ladislav Krejci (yes, real player!)
- Cyprus vs. Wales - There are 3 Konstantinos in the starting IX and another on the bench
- Italy vs. Malta - There are 3 players with the last name 'Muscat' in the lineup, its unknown if they're directly related.

Wow did Azerbaijan play well. Extremely frustrating as a Croatia supporter naturally.
Chances galore for Croatia, but couldn't finish. Credit to Azerbaijan though they played well. Having former Croatia assistant Prosinecki as their coach surely helped as Prosinecki coached many of the current Croatia players.

Italy left it somewhat late but sneak out a 1-0 against Malta, pretty big win with the Croatian tie.
Netherlands are shocked by Iceland, and fall to 3rd in the group and 6 points behind Czech Republic.
Big hole for the Dutch with only 3 games remaining, really if Iceland gets a tie and Czech win 1 of the 3 remaining games it is pretty much over for them.

Oh...Holland are in trouble, the Netherlands didnt do themselves any favours there, but I'm sure the Dutch will be okay if it comes to a playoff.
